Monday 17th December
The whole of Key Stage 2 went to UCLAN for an afternoon filled with forensic enquiry. The children were really excited to find out about the crime of who had stolen the Christmas Presents from Santa’s Sleigh and how they could help eliminate suspects through following different forensic lines of enquiry. e.g. shoe prints, fingerprints and how DNA is left behind in places we have visited.
Thursday 13th December 2018
Today the whole school completed two incredible shows for parents, carers and people from the community. All the children were amazing and spoke with real confidence and passion in role.
Wednesday 21st November – Friday 23rd November
13 children from Year 5 and 6 went to Robinwood Activity Centre in Todmorden for three days filled with adventure. The children were absolutely fantastic and overcame lots of fears throughout the trip. It was an amazing adventure and we are already planning to go back there next year.

Today we all came together in Church to celebrate The Harvest Festival. The children were fantastic with their readings in Church and they should be really proud of themselves.
Thank you also to all the parents who came to celebrate with us in Church today and a huge thank you to everyone who made a donation which made the service a huge success.

More children and young people than ever before are seeking help with their mental health, but fewer than one in ten find it easy to get the support they need.
By wearing yellow on World Mental Health Day, we want to show young people that they’re not alone when it comes to their mental health.
Please join is in supporting this worthy cause and raising awareness by wearing yellow.
