Hello Year 4! This year Miss Arshad will be your class teacher, with the support of the amazing Mrs Khan. We are both very excited to welcome you and your child into Year 4, creating lots of exciting learning experiences. We are looking forward to making our classroom an inspiring and nurturing place in which every single child will be able to aim high, be a proud learner and achieve their very best. Miss Arshad is available to contact through ClassDojo and has an open-door policy, where you can come and discuss anything to support your child’s learning journey.

Year 4 Information & Downloads

Things to remember:

PE – The children should have their P.E kits in school ready for their P.E days : black shorts, leggings or tracksuit bottoms, white t-shirt and their school jumper if it is needed outside.  Earrings should be removed and long hair tied up on these days before the children come to school. Year 4 go for swimming lessons, for all of the Autumn and Spring Term. Children to bring to school their swimming costume/shorts, a towel and a cap for long hair.

Reading Books are needed in school each day.  When the children have finished a book they can change it for a new one.  The children are expected to read a minimum of three times a week as part of their homework.  The children also have opportunities to visit the school library throughout the weeks.  The children should always have their library books in school.

Homework is sent out weekly.  It consists of a Arithmetic, Grammar, TT Rockstars and spellings.
