Welcome to Year 6!
For the next few weeks, we will be completing Remote Learning for our work.
Each day, a link will appear below that has all of the information that you will need for that day. Click the link and it will take you to a PDF document that has a brief introduction for each lesson and also has links to extra information you will need. Anything that is blue and underlined in these documents is a link that will take you to more work and information for the lesson.
After you have completed your work, upload a photo or video of your work for me to have a look at. I will then offer you some feedback.
If you have any problems, the easiest and quickest way to get in touch with me is via ClassDojo. If you cannot get in touch in this way, please email the school office and we will get in touch with you another way.

We Love Reading in Year 6
This half-term we are doing lots of reading and we are focusing on two fantastic books.
During our English lessons we are reading a retelling by Andrew Matthews of ‘Macbeth’ by William Shakespeare.
Our class novel, which we will reading as part of our Shared Reading sessions, is ‘Wonder’ by RJ Palacio. (I feel I should mention this is possibly my favourite book that I’ve ever used with one of my classes)
Internet Safety
We use the internet all of the time!
From keeping in touch with friends, doing work and playing games.
The internet is a great place, but it is very important to stay safe. When you are using the internet, you should only be using websites and apps that your parents know about. You should also make sure you do not communicate with anyone new on the internet. Only talk to people that you are sure you already know from the ‘real world’.
